Message from Masamichi Higurashi
Once again, the staff at Salon Christie have created a menu inspired by the foods and drinks featured in the Sherlock Holmes stories. Some dishes use ingredients typical of England during the time Holmes was active. I hope you enjoy them while recalling both the original stories and their film adaptations, including the now-familiar (and personally beloved) 'Meerschaum Beer.'

Operated by Hayakawa Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Hayakawa Publishing, Salon Christie reopened in February 2023 with the concept of 'a place where book lovers gather.' The café's name is inspired by the Queen of Mystery, Agatha Christie.
The café is also used by Hayakawa Publishing editors for meetings with authors and translators—visitors might just catch a glimpse if they're lucky.
Leveraging its connection to a publishing house, the café offers collaborative menus with books and authors. Regular events such as book clubs are held, creating a haven for book lovers.
Guests can enjoy meals immersed in the atmosphere of novels. With alcoholic beverages available, it's also a great spot to stop by after work with a good book.
