WWWave Corporation announced the launch of a new web manga magazine, "Namicomi", scheduled to begin service on June 16, 2026. Since its establishment in 2010, WWWave has grown through operating the electronic comic distribution service "ComicFesta" and producing anime based on original comics, with a strong track record in media mix expansions like anime, drama, and overseas distribution. Leveraging this experience, "Namicomi" aims to deliver new works and nurture them into multi-faceted media franchises.
"Namicomi" features six diverse manga labels updated daily, offering exclusive advanced releases of new titles. It is designed to be reader-friendly, requiring no app and allowing direct reading from SNS. It also offers a "Wait and Read for Free" and ticket system for easy access. Furthermore, "Namicomi" implements the highly reliable "Comici+" manga SaaS system, enabling users to log in with a common ID already shared by over 3 million members across other manga sites.
At launch, 24 titles are planned, with continuous updates. The company shifts from a purely data-driven approach to one that also values the creators' passion, striving to build a platform where promising works gather.
