## Dior Opens 'Dior Suite' at the 79th Cannes Film Festival

Located on the sixth floor of the Majestic Hotel, directly facing the Theatre Lumière, the venue of the Cannes Film Festival, the Dior Suite invites celebrities from around the world for a moment of escape. In recent years, this legendary hotel has become a social hub for top stars, including House Ambassadors Natalie Portman, Charlize Theron, Johnny Depp, and Robert Pattinson. The Dior Suite has also welcomed numerous celebrities such as Camille Cottin, Raphaël Quenard, Mallory Wanecque, Juliette Armanet, Nicole Wallace, and Carla Bruni.

This year, the Dior Suite features a hand-painted-style white and sky-blue stripe pattern reminiscent of a beach resort, with figures dressed for a masquerade, echoing the view of the Riviera. The iconic Dior masquerade couture motif pays homage to film costume design, inspired by illustrations drawn by Christian Bérard for Monsieur Dior, who loved this festival.

The elegant stripe pattern covering the entire suite is accented with details such as Monsieur Dior’s signature and rattan seashells. In the center of the first reception room, a classical tent adorned with the same pattern and the masquerade motif is set up, providing a comfortable space equipped with a vanity table and a cozy bench.

In the main reception room, bathed in the soft light of palm tree-shaped lamps, white sofas and armchairs are arranged towards the terrace. The view of the sea beyond invites guests to the deck chairs under large parasols.

For the two weeks of the Cannes Film Festival, the 350-square-meter Dior Suite transforms into a sanctuary of beauty. In the treatment rooms, decorated with mirrors featuring the iconic Dior Cannage motif in neon, house experts provide massages and flash facial treatments to prepare and brighten the skin. Skin care expert and Dior U.S. Ambassador Sarah Akram, along with Dior Global Wellness Expert Huda Akrim, use their respective expertise to provide guests of the house with a relaxing moment before their appearance on the red carpet.

The makeup rooms bring together Dior Backstage professionals, including Norman Paul, Jamie Coombes, Junior Cedeno, Ricky Wilson, and Selby Gill, as well as internationally acclaimed makeup artists such as Aurore Gauthier, Christina Vidic, Ruby Mazuel, Kera, Fofie Mathias, Christina Lutz, Carol Hannah, and Alexandra Schiavi. Using the makeup collection created by Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director of Dior Makeup, they bring out the charm of artists and celebrities with their unique creative touches.

For a perfect total look, the nail bar offers manicures and nail care using the Dior Vernis line. Meanwhile, barber and Dior Sauvage Grooming Ambassador Brice Chaga proposes a unique beard and hair grooming routine for male guests, designed to cleanse, soothe, and revitalize.

As a long-standing partner of La Terrasse by Albane, Dior also provides a hair and makeup room on the rooftop of the JW Marriott Hotel, offering touch-ups for film industry professionals and celebrities before interviews and photo shoots.
