WWDJAPAN will hold its annual Fall/Winter 2026-27 Season Outlook Trend Seminar on April 20, 2026. This time, the traditional program has been revamped to deliver content that delves deeper into international collections and the domestic real-clothes market.

Amidst a world enveloped in an unsettling atmosphere, a new value, "attachment," emerged during this season's fashion weeks. Collections like "CHLOE," incorporating folklore-inspired embroidery and crochet, and "DRIES VAN NOTEN," drawing inspiration from school uniforms of youth, convey the creators' love, dedication, and the value accumulated through inheritance. Especially now, with the rise of AI, a new luxury value is beginning to sprout: imbuing clothes with human-spun stories and memories.

In this seminar, reporters covering collections will join guests in a two-part structure to forecast and analyze next season's trends. While unraveling designers' intentions against the backdrop of the times, notable international collections will be introduced with show videos. Furthermore, the seminar will thoroughly analyze points of contact with the domestic market, including moods, styles, and items likely to gain traction next season.
