WOTA Signs Agreement with Miyagi Prefecture to Strengthen 'Wide-Area Mutual Assistance Platform for Water Recycling Systems Among Municipalities'

This agreement is part of an initiative to promote the establishment of a wide-area mutual assistance platform based on prefectural units. It strengthens the system for securing domestic water during disasters through collaboration between the prefectures and JWAD (Japan Water Association for Disaster), which organizes and operates the platform. The purpose of this agreement is to establish a mutual support system for domestic water equipment among prefectures to ensure sanitary conditions and water supply at evacuation centers during disasters.
