Toshio Furukawa and other renowned voice actors gather in Nagoya! 'Guardians of the Lighthouse' special stage to be held on August 1!

World Eggs Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Katsunori Namifusa) and the World Cosplay Summit Executive Committee (Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture; Chairman: Tokumaru Oguri), which hosts the world's largest cosplay event 'World Cosplay Summit,' have decided to hold 'Akaribi Matsuri' at the Aichi Prefectural Art Theater Main Hall on Saturday, August 1, 2026.

The lighthouse personification project 'Akari no Moribito' will make its 'appearance' on the stage of a super large-scale event where cosplay enthusiasts from around the world gather.

Renowned voice actors who have colored the world of 'Akari no Moribito,' led by Toshio Furukawa, will take the stage. Furthermore, Hohito Nakayashiki, who has directed numerous popular stage productions, will be invited to direct the reading play, delivering a special reading play by 'Voice Actors x Cosplayers' that can only be seen here.

Synopsis of the Reading Play Spirits 'Akari no Moribito' residing in lighthouses built at the farthest reaches of the land. In a world threatened by sea monsters, humanity's hope was entrusted to them. And now, a suspicious shadow approaches the waters near Nagoya──

Reading Play Director Hohito Nakayashiki Playwright and director. Head of the theater company 'Kaki Kuu Kyaku.' Responsible for the scripts and direction of all his works. Beyond his theater company, his activities are diverse, including writing and directing numerous stage plays, dramas, and radio plays.
