Our company endorses April Dream, which aims to make April 1st a day for expressing dreams. This press release is the dream of Work Shift Research Institute Co., Ltd.

Work Shift Research Institute Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Yuko Kobayakawa; hereinafter "Work Shift Research Institute"), since its establishment in 2015, has focused on training programs for individuals and corporations, aiming to reduce the number of people struggling with the "work-life balance barrier" between work and childcare, and to make "working while raising children" a natural part of society.

Cumulative participants of "Petit MBA" seminars, including "Ikukyu Petit MBA" (Paternity Leave Mini MBA) which started in 2014 for those taking parental leave, exceeded 23,000 as of September 2025. Since 2022, we have also expanded to offer "Ikukyu Petit MBA Welfare Plan" for corporations.

However, what we have faced over the past 10 years is not merely supporting employees during and after parental leave. What became clear through repeated training was a "structural" problem that does not change with training alone. Excellent human resources narrow their career options due to life events such as parental leave, fall out of the decision-making layers of organizations, and the speed and quality of decision-making for the entire company decline. We have consistently addressed the root cause of such issues.

**This year, our dream scales up a notch.**

Our dream is "to create Japanese organizations where diverse talent is naturally present in decision-making layers." We believe that by creating a structure where individuals with diverse experiences and perspectives can participate in decision-making layers, companies become stronger and more resilient organizations. Based on this belief, we launched our "Organizational Transformation Consulting" service in March this year.

Work Shift Research Institute launches Organizational Transformation Consulting to address "Decision-Making Talent Shortage" in the era of human capital management.

The purpose of this service is to solve the management challenge of "securing talent capable of making decisions." We provide consistent support tailored to companies' management challenges, from building pipelines for management candidates, reviewing evaluation and promotion processes, to designing measures that prevent career disruption due to life events such as parental leave and nursing care. We support structural reforms designed to integrate systems, operations, and mindset.

**To realize our dream, we need partners.**
