Wood Design Park Kyoto-Sai- (Location: Kyotanabe City, Kyoto Prefecture / An outdoor facility offering accommodation, day-trip BBQ, saunas, craft experiences, etc.) has released the "Gyokuro Sauna Plan" as a new option to make the on-site outdoor sauna experience even more special.

This plan offers a sauna experience incorporating "gyokuro," a specialty of Kyotanabe City, Kyoto Prefecture. Guests can enjoy loyly using gyokuro in the sauna, and a special original drink made with gyokuro will be provided after the sauna. The experience is designed to allow guests to relax their mind and body amidst nature while feeling the regional characteristics of Kyotanabe City.

Kyotanabe City, where Wood Design Park Kyoto-Sai- is located, is a nationally renowned producer of gyokuro.

Gyokuro is known as a tea that suppresses bitterness and brings out a deep umami and sweetness by shading the tea leaves from sunlight. Carefully cultivated with time and effort, gyokuro is one of the region's representative specialty products, born from the combination of Kyotanabe City's nature, land, and the producers' skills.

With this sauna plan, we aim to provide visitors to Kyotanabe City with an opportunity to experience the region's charm through their stay at our facility by incorporating gyokuro into the sauna experience.

Through the aroma of gyokuro spreading in the sauna room and the gyokuro drink enjoyed after the sauna, we aim to create an experience that not only allows guests to enjoy the sauna but also serves as an introduction to "Kyotanabe, the town of gyokuro."

You can enter the private sauna by passing through the "Gyokuro Sauna" noren (curtain).

At Wood Design Park Kyoto-Sai-'s outdoor sauna, you can enjoy your sauna time at your leisure in a space surrounded by nature.

In the newly released Gyokuro Sauna Plan, we provide loyly water made from cold-brewed gyokuro. Enjoy a different kind of relaxation experience from a regular sauna, while feeling the aroma of tea spreading within the sauna room.

Additionally, a complimentary original drink made with gyokuro will be provided after your sauna session. We offer refreshing drinks such as gyokuro lemonade and gyokuro white grape squash, perfect for after a sauna.

Furthermore, to make it easier for those who do not have swimwear, we also offer sauna swimwear rentals.

You can easily enjoy the sauna experience with any of our cottage or hostel accommodation plans.

During the sauna, enjoy cold-brewed Kyotanabe-produced gyokuro. You can enjoy the aroma of gyokuro in the sauna room.

With this sauna plan, we propose a unique way to spend your time at the facility by incorporating gyokuro, a representative specialty product of Kyotanabe City, into the sauna experience.
