Wood Design Park Okazaki (Location: Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture) is currently undergoing a new guest room project to renovate its "HEYAmping" room series into a "hotel-like" space centered on the texture of solid wood x modern design.

Breaking away from the conventional wisdom of outdoor lodging, we aim for a stay value that doesn't end with "just staying" by fusing a two-story private space and a theater experience.

As it is currently under production, we will release information sequentially regarding the process up to completion and the details of the space.

The Next Step for Glamping is "Competing with the Room"

While preserving the charm of spending time in nature, what is required of future accommodation experiences is "making the time spent indoors the main event of the trip."

In this renovation, we design a stay where not only playing outside but "being in the room" itself becomes the purpose.

Three Experience Values Aimed for in the New Guest Rooms

1) A Bunk Structure Becomes "Two Private Rooms" —— A Two-Story Private Space

The bunk bed, luxuriously made of solid wood, is not just bedding.

We aim for a design where the upper and lower bunks each function as "one's own space," allowing guests to experience separate "cozy hideaway feelings" while being in the same room.

2) Monopolizing a Movie Theater in Your Room —— Private Cinema Experience

Assuming an environment where large-screen visuals can be enjoyed from each bunk, we propose an "exclusive theater experience just for you" where you can immerse yourself in the world of movies and videos without worrying about your surroundings.

We have placed such a strong experience value at the center of our design: "Even on rainy days, memories will multiply inside the room."

3) Updating the Casualness of Glamping —— Hotel-like Solid Wood x Modern

A modern space where the warmth of wood and inorganic textures harmonize, completely revamping the conventional image of outdoor accommodation.

We will make "wanting to stretch yourself a little" the new standard for HEYAmping.

For children, the excitement of a "secret base."

For adults, a relaxing time wrapped in the scent of wood.

Because there is fun to be had entirely indoors, special family memories can be created regardless of the weather.

For peers, a slightly mature "cozy hideaway experience."

Because of the two-story structure with a close sense of distance, time spent watching movies and talking naturally deepens.

We aim for a stylish stay that you will want to capture in photos.

The Story of the Room

Upon entering the room, a calm atmosphere spreads out, making you forget the hustle and bustle outside.

Going up the solid wood stairs, both the upper and lower bunks are each "your own space."

Watching your favorite movies and enjoying casual conversations while looking at the large-screen visuals.

While keeping the freedom of the outdoors, you can relax quietly like in a hotel.

We have prepared such a new "cozy hideaway" time.
