Enjoy a Matcha Experience at a Shabu-shabu and Sukiyaki Specialty Restaurant

In recent years, there has been increasing interest among international tourists visiting Japan in experiencing Japanese culture, including matcha.

This course is a new plan for inbound tourists, combining an all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu and sukiyaki experience with a live demonstration where staff prepare and serve matcha at the table. Enjoy a Japanese-style experience during your post-meal leisure time.

This will be available starting Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Moo Moo Paradise Shinjuku East Exit store, with plans for phased introduction at other stores in the future.

Using Kyoto Prefecture's Matcha "Kyosui," Matcha Prepared at Your Table

We use "Kyosui," a matcha from Kyoto Prefecture. It is characterized by its rich aroma, elegant umami, and vibrant green color, offering a flavor that is easily approachable for international customers.

The matcha will be prepared by our staff at each table, one cup per person, on the spot. You can enjoy a freshly made bowl of tea while watching the process of whisking the matcha with a chasen up close.

During service, we will provide explanations on how to drink and savor the matcha in multiple languages, including English. We will also offer traditional Japanese sweets to complement the tea, creating a relaxing time suitable for the end of your meal.
