Com2uS Announces New Game Project Based on Popular TV Anime 'Rank Party: I Left the Party to Aim for the Depths of the Dungeon with My Former Students.'

Com2uS Japan, a company that provides mobile games for smartphones, has announced the development of a new game based on the Japanese TV anime 'Rank Party: I Left the Party to Aim for the Depths of the Dungeon with My Former Students.' (hereinafter referred to as 'Eparida').

Com2uS has entered into a licensing agreement with Kodansha, the copyright holder of the IP, and will proceed with the game development and global publishing of the anime 'Eparida'. The plan is to maximize the core appeal of the work while integrating the unique fun of games, thereby expanding it not only as TV anime content but also as game content.

'Eparida' is a popular title that began as a light novel and has surpassed 1.8 million copies in series circulation, including its manga adaptation. It has expanded its fan base worldwide through the TV anime. The protagonist, the red mage 'Euc', reunites with his former students to form the party 'Clover'. It is gaining attention as an adventure fantasy where they challenge the depths of the dungeon, and the production of a second season of the TV anime has also been decided.

This project was surprisingly revealed at the Com2uS booth at 'AnimeJapan 2026', held at Tokyo Big Sight on Sunday, March 29th. At the announcement stage, voice actors from the TV anime appeared and announced the project on a large screen, attracting the attention of attendees.

In addition to the project announcement, a teaser video was also released. This approximately one-minute video features the protagonist 'Euc' and his former students 'Rain' and 'Marina', hinting at the new journey of 'Clover' that will unfold in the game.

At this 'AnimeJapan 2026', in addition to the game announcement for 'Eparida', Com2uS also operated stage events, trial play corners, and experiential events centered around new titles under development, such as 'Tougen Ankoku Crimson Inferno' and 'Gachia Kuta The Game (Tentative)', deepening communication with anime and game fans. Com2uS plans to sequentially release new lineups based on anime as high-quality content and further strengthen its recognition in the global market.
