Our company supports April Dream, which aims to make April 1st a day to announce dreams.
This press release is a dream of "Will and Well-ness Inc."

Will and Well-ness Inc. (Headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Ayako Morimoto) aims to realize the dream of a society where women "do not stop" at life's turning points, and to achieve this dream "from Japan to the world," as part of April Dream.

Through a mechanism that supports thought organization and decision-making, we will help women move forward without continuously stopping, even while facing challenges.
*This release is a "dream announcement" as part of the April Dream project.

■ What we want to achieve as a dream
Will and Well-ness Inc. aims to realize a society that supports career women in their 30s and 40s to make choices with conviction and move forward, without continuously stopping even while facing challenges.

Especially career women in their 30s and 40s are in a complex decision-making process, where they need to consider multiple factors simultaneously, facing not only career directions but also life events and changes in roles.
In such situations, they may find themselves unable to move forward due to states such as:
・Thoughts are not organized
・Unable to articulate their decision-making criteria
・Lack of conviction about their choices

In response to these situations, we believe that "if there is a mechanism to organize thoughts and support making choices with conviction, people can move forward," and that
Worries can be transformed not into reasons to stop, but into entry points for moving forward.
Based on this premise, we advocate this dream.

■ Background of the concept
What we have observed through supporting career women so far is that, in many cases, women are not "worrying," but rather "in a state of being stuck, unable to make choices because their thoughts are not organized." Furthermore,
"Don't know who to consult"
"Time and cost constraints"
"Unable to take the step to consult due to psychological hurdles"
Such "physical, economic, and psychological hurdles" to consulting others exist, and it is not uncommon for women to get stuck without even reaching the stage of "wanting to consult."

In fact, through dialogues with many clients, we have heard voices like the following:
(These are voices received from clients during our trial sessions and career design sessions, and voices received when our representative interviewed career women in their 30s and 40s.)

・I read self-help books, but ultimately didn't deepen my understanding of myself.
・I tried self-understanding exercises that were recommended, but I didn't know what was right and ended up feeling unfulfilled.
・I participated in self-improvement seminars and self-understanding workshops, but didn't achieve a deep understanding of myself and felt unfulfilled.
・I tried other free counseling sessions, but didn't get what I was looking for. Since it was a one-off, I didn't feel it was very meaningful.
・I could get career advice at work, but I didn't know how much of my true feelings I could share, so I couldn't fully utilize it.
・I had been struggling with worries for a long time, but didn't understand the differences between counseling, coaching, and career consulting, and remained stuck without being able to choose what suited me.
・I spent time talking to people close to me, and while it felt good temporarily, nothing was ultimately resolved, and I continued to feel uneasy.
・Even though I wanted to resolve my worries, (in coaching) I was asked to find the answers within myself, which caused mental burden, and my worries didn't decrease much.
・When I asked another counselor for help, they listened to me, but there were no words on what to do next, so I didn't know what to do in the future and didn't feel it was meaningful.
・The person I consulted was in a considerably higher position, so I felt intimidated. I received various advice based on their experience, but it was difficult to apply to myself, and my confusion grew.

・I heard that writing is good and tried journaling. I felt my self-understanding deepened, but it didn't lead to the next action, and I started to feel stagnant alone.
・I also participated in career events, but everyone around me seemed to be shining, and I lost sight of myself. As a result, I felt my self-esteem had slightly decreased.

These various voices are all real, but what emerged from them was not that "existing methods are not functioning," but rather that the "process for an individual to reach a state of making choices with conviction" itself is lacking.

Against this background, we have first supported individuals in organizing their thoughts, articulating their decision-making criteria, and moving forward with conviction through our currently offered "Career Design Sessions."

And at the same time, to deliver this state not just to a few, but to more people, we came to the idea that a "mechanism that individuals can access alone" is necessary, which led to our current product concept.

■ Our efforts to date
We have supported individuals in organizing their thoughts and making choices with conviction through dialogue (i.e., Career Design Sessions) that supports thought organization and decision-making. We emphasize a process of structurally organizing thoughts and articulating decision-making criteria, and we are committed to supporting individual decision-making.

■ Future initiatives
First, we will continue to prioritize 1-on-1 dialogue through "Career Design Sessions," carefully engaging with each person who seeks consultation, supporting them in organizing their thoughts and making choices with conviction, and accompanying them on their journey towards their desired self.

Furthermore, based on the knowledge we have accumulated so far, we will proceed with:
The development of an application that supports thought organization and decision-making,
enabling people who are struggling with career and life choices
to organize their situation and thoughts, make choices with conviction, and move forward.

This mechanism will be designed not for a society where people must rely on others to move forward, but as a resource that individuals can use alone to progress.

Moreover, leveraging Japan's unique strengths of "deep listening and the power of meaning-making," we will translate and implement these into a product, expanding this mechanism to support people struggling with decision-making globally.

Delivering this strength, which has been taken for granted in Japan, as a global value is also an important theme of this initiative.

■ Message from the Representative
Through the valuable opportunity of 1-on-1 sessions with many clients, I have repeatedly encountered people who are "unable to move forward despite wanting to." In many cases, I believe it's not a matter of ability or motivation, but rather "a state of holding thoughts alone without them being organized."

Worrying is not a bad thing.
There are times when stopping is necessary.

Nevertheless, I believe that "the state of continuously worrying alone without being able to break free can be reduced."

When thoughts are organized and one can choose with conviction, people can naturally move forward. I want to continue supporting that state.

Furthermore, throughout my career in my 20s, interacting with many people in global environments, I realized that there isn't a simple dichotomy of "overseas is strong, Japan is weak." Instead, I felt that Japan possesses its own unique "quiet and essential strength."

In particular, the "power of deep listening," which is often taken for granted in Japan, is actually a rare and valuable strength in overseas environments where assertion and self-expression are emphasized. I have deeply felt and realized this.

I want to embody this good cultural strength of Japan as a "From Japan" value in our product and deliver it to the world.

And in the future, I aim to mature this product into one that supports people around the world, especially women, who are struggling with life and career choices, to move forward with conviction.

Mission
The power to decide one's life with conviction.
To create a state where women can "decide their own life and career with conviction and move forward."

Vision
A society where everyone chooses their life with their own words, not someone else's right answer.
