Subway Museum 40th Anniversary × Kyoto Railway Museum 10th Anniversary Commemoration: "Chikahaku Memorial 40" Collaboration Event

Celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Subway Museum (Edogawa Ward, Tokyo) and the 10th anniversary of the Kyoto Railway Museum (Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto) with the special collaboration event "Chikahaku Memorial 40"! At our museum, enjoy special wrapping on the KuHa 103-1 displayed in the promenade, model train exchanges running on railway dioramas, and a special director's talk between the directors of both museums. Don't miss this special opportunity!

103 Series Wrapping

Part of the KuHa 103-1, one of our museum's preserved vehicles, will be specially wrapped to resemble the former Teito Rapid Transit Authority (now Tokyo Metro) 300 series train. Information panels introducing both museums will also be displayed inside the car.

Model Train Exchange Operation

In honor of the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line and JR West's Tozai Line, a model of our 321 series train will appear at the Subway Museum, while a model of the Subway Museum's 15000 series train will appear at our museum! Both models will run on the railway dioramas at their respective venues.
