“Hokuriku Shinkansen: Discover Secrets! Hakusan General Rolling Stock Center Tour by Chartered Deadhead Train” Released

West Japan Railway Company (JR West) is organizing a special tour titled “Hokuriku Shinkansen: Discover Secrets! Hakusan General Rolling Stock Center Tour by Chartered Deadhead Train,” allowing visitors to explore the interior of the rolling stock center. This tour offers a guided visit to the facility where daily inspections and maintenance are performed, and participants will travel from the station to the center aboard a deadhead train. It's a unique chance to experience the allure of the Shinkansen and the behind-the-scenes world of railways. The tour is scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026, departing from and returning to Kanazawa Station. Prices are 12,800 yen for adults and 8,800 yen for children (elementary school students). Sales begin on May 21 (Thursday) at 13:00 on a dedicated website via tabiwa by WESTER, on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants completing a survey will receive a non-sale Hokuriku Shinkansen W7 series acrylic keyholder.
