Last year's well-received 'National Railway Type Locomotive EF65 Night Exhibition in Shimonoseki' will be held again, this time as a plan including accommodation.

This is a precious opportunity to photograph locomotives lined up at night in a vehicle depot that is usually inaccessible to the public. We invite you to experience the charm of railways through this event.

4. Event Content

(1) Exhibition of Rolling Stock

JR West's EF65 locomotives will be displayed with pantographs in the raised position.

Shooting areas will be changed at specific intervals to allow photography from various angles.

*Note: The number of vehicles may change depending on operational requirements. Images are from the previous event.

(2) Headmark Display

Historically used headmarks will be attached to the exhibition vehicles, and they will be swapped during designated time slots.

5. Other Information

- The exhibition content or time may be changed or cancelled in case of transportation disruptions, vehicle malfunctions, or weather warnings in the vicinity.

- The exhibition takes place from dusk to nighttime. While minimum lighting will be provided for pathways, some areas will be dark. Please follow staff instructions for safety.

- The terrain within the facility can be uneven. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

- Tripods are allowed, but the use of stepladders is prohibited to avoid disturbing other participants. Please be considerate when using tripods.

- We cannot accommodate requests to attach personal railway parts (headmarks, section plates, etc.) to the vehicles.
