The JR West 500 Series Shinkansen, scheduled for retirement around 2027, has been popular for many years due to its futuristic design and distinctive style. The '500 Series Shinkansen Room' was developed with the desire to express gratitude for its past contributions and to allow guests to continue to experience and feel close to the 500 Series Shinkansen.

About the '500 Series Shinkansen Room': There are two guest rooms, each themed 'Recreating and Experiencing the 500 Series Shinkansen as it is,' with different settings representing its past and present.

The design incorporates the 500 Series Shinkansen not only in the rooms but also in the corridors, making the approach enjoyable. Part of the interior also features the design of test vehicles, expressing the history of the 500 Series, including its past.

The rooms are equipped with actual seats and back tables used in the 500 Series, and feature an immersive space with interiors based on the actual train, new furniture, markings, stickers, and recreated window views. Enjoy the detailed points scattered throughout.
