Wemex Corporation, a subsidiary of PHC Holdings Corporation, announced that it will add a new AI-powered initial interview documentation support feature, “Mendan Matomeru-kun,” to its “Wemex Health Guidance System” for health checkup institutions and private specified health guidance providers. The feature is scheduled for release in August 2026. By simply recording a specified health guidance interview, the AI summarizes the content and automatically generates guidance records in SOAP format according to the report template. Automating system entry is intended to improve operational efficiency at guidance sites and enable standardized record management. In specified health guidance, especially during information-heavy initial interviews, instructors spend significant time taking notes, organizing interview content, and entering information into systems. This has led to issues such as reduced communication and guidance time, variation in record quality depending on instructor experience and skill, and insufficient information during staff changes or handovers. The new feature is optimized for specified health guidance. AI trained on domain-specific terminology and report formats transcribes and summarizes conversations between instructors and participants. It can also capture nuances such as whether the participant seems likely to engage positively, then automatically generate SOAP-format records with minimal need for correction. The feature supports both online and in-person interviews. According to verification by seven active specified health guidance instructors, system entry time for each interview record can be reduced from an average of about 15.8 minutes to about 7.9 minutes, saving roughly eight minutes per case. The time saved can be used to handle more interviews or improve the quality and depth of guidance for each participant. Because the AI objectively creates and registers summaries based on recorded audio, it helps prevent differences in record formats and omissions. This enables consistent record management that does not depend on individual staff skill, addressing operational issues such as quality variation and insufficient handover information. Before the service release, Wemex will hold an online seminar introducing feature details and pricing using demo screens. The seminar will take place on May 27, 2026, from 14:00 to 14:45 via Zoom, with free participation. Businesses that have not subscribed to the Wemex Health Guidance System may also attend.
