Wellpharma Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Issei Fukuda), which operates the femcare brand "fuwari," held the online seminar "Vaginal Yoga & Femcare" on Saturday, June 20, 2026.

This seminar is an experiential program designed to learn about self-care that can be easily incorporated into daily life, while being mindful of the physical and mental changes that become more noticeable with age.

On the day, in addition to lectures on pelvic floor muscle care and changes in the female body, participants practiced vaginal yoga, which is easy to continue at home. The seminar introduced care from the inside to regulate the pelvic floor muscles and external care focused on moisturizing the delicate zone.

The concept of "regulating" rather than just "training" the pelvic floor muscles

In the first half of the seminar, the relationship between the pelvic floor muscles and issues that tend to occur with changes in female hormones and aging, such as urinary leakage, dryness, and changes in posture, was explained.

Lecturer Mika Nihei explained that not only the pelvic floor muscles but also the condition of the entire body, including posture, breathing, the neck, tongue, diaphragm, and hip joints, affects the function of the pelvic floor muscles.

She also explained points to make it easier to be aware of the pelvic floor muscles in daily life, starting with "standing correctly" and "sitting correctly."

Practicing "Vaginal Yoga" with awareness of the entire body's connection

In the practical session, vaginal yoga was performed, focusing on the connection of the entire body that supports the pelvic floor muscles.

First, exercises to loosen the tongue and neck area, and breathing techniques to regulate diaphragm movement were performed, followed by stretches for the hips, buttocks, and legs. The aim was to create a state where the pelvic floor muscles can function easily while relaxing body tension.

Furthermore, participants experienced a method of working with the pelvic floor muscles by engaging the entire body in coordination, rather than just training the pelvic floor muscles in isolation, through breathing exercises, squats, and standing exercises that focus on the pelvic floor muscles.

The seminar also introduced approaches to intuitively understand the pelvic floor muscles, such as "being aware of a single line from the perineum to the crown of the head."

Introduction of self-care habits that are easy to incorporate into daily life

During the seminar, the concept of self-care that can be continued in daily life, not just as an exercise, was also introduced.

For modern women who tend to strain their bodies due to long hours of desk work or housework, explanations were given on how to adjust posture, points to be aware of the pelvic floor muscles during daily movements, and tips for making it a habit without strain.

Making Femcare a Daily Habit

In the latter half, moisturizing care for the delicate zone was also introduced.

While touching on the delicate zone environment, which tends to change with age, the importance of facing one's own body through moisturizing care was explained. The seminar also introduced how to use fuwari feminine oil and incorporate it into daily life.

Additionally, a Q&A session was held to answer questions about pelvic floor muscle care and femcare based on a pre-seminar survey. Topics closely related to daily life, such as methods for continuation and incorporating self-care, were discussed.
