They provided expert insights into pet epilepsy and daily care. Dr. Fujiwara introduced basic knowledge of canine epilepsy, the mechanisms of seizures, and the latest research on CBD (cannabidiol). He explained that epilepsy involves repeated seizures due to excessive excitation of neurons in the brain, with symptoms in dogs ranging from full-body convulsions and loss of consciousness to localized twitching.

Furthermore, it was noted that in approximately one-third of canine epilepsy cases, seizures cannot be sufficiently controlled even with standard anti-epileptic drugs, a condition known as 'drug-resistant epilepsy.'
