[CIBONE] Glass Artist Yoshihiro Nishiyama Solo Exhibition Held at CIBONE CASE (Ginza)

Starting Saturday, June 13th, we will hold a solo exhibition "Yuragi Yurameki Yurayura 2026" by glass artist Yoshihiro Nishiyama at CIBONE CASE (Ginza).

Based in Ehime, the artist creates works using the blown glass technique.

The works feature uneven contours, slight distortions, and rich expressions that change with light.

These are not added as decorations but are born from confronting the glass material, which constantly changes its shape.

Nishiyama, who states, "I want to incorporate the natural form of glass, not artificiality," continues to create works by not missing a single moment of the glass as it changes at the tip of his blowpipe. The fluctuations remaining in his works are unique expressions born from the overlap of the material's properties and the artist's handwork.

This exhibition will feature a wide lineup, including standard glasses, bowls, and vases, as well as new works created specifically for this exhibition.

Yoshihiro Nishiyama In Ehime Prefecture, with the desire to capture each fleeting moment of glass, which constantly changes its shape, without missing it, and to incorporate the natural form of glass rather than artificiality, I create works daily using blown glass.
