[Free Admission] First 'Oshigoto MUSE Contest in Okayama' to Open Up the Future of Okayama

The Women Entrepreneur Creation Association (WECA), which supports women's challenges and the creation of opportunities for active participation, will hold the first 'Oshigoto MUSE Contest in Okayama' on Thursday, June 11, at Momo-Sta. 17 female entrepreneurs from across the country, including 14 from Okayama Prefecture, will present business ideas and concepts aimed at solving regional issues and creating new value. The 17 women presenting at this event are early-stage entrepreneurs with no prior experience in pitch contests. They have experienced career turning points due to life events such as pregnancy, childbirth, childcare, and relocation. Based on the challenges and conflicts they faced during these turning points, they have conceived their business ideas. The event is free to attend, and visitors can come and go as they please, with children welcome. While there are challenges for women's entrepreneurship and career advancement in regional areas, such as a lack of role models and opportunities, this event aims to discover business ideas from a unique female perspective and provide opportunities for co-creation and connection.
