Our company supports April Dream, which aims to make April 1st a day to share dreams. This press release is the dream of the 'General Incorporated Association for Women Entrepreneurs Creation Association WECA'.
The General Incorporated Association for Women Entrepreneurs Creation Association 'WECA' (Headquarters: Nakamura Ward, Nagoya City https://weca.jp/) aims to realize a 'society where women who take a step towards entrepreneurship and are challenging themselves can be active in their own way, without giving up on their aspirations,' together with women who are taking the first step towards entrepreneurship and challenging themselves.
### What are the "invisible walls" that hinder women's challenges?
In recent years, legal frameworks such as the Work Style Reform Act, the Child Care and Family Care Leave Act, and the Next Generation Child-rearing Support Promotion Act have progressed, leading to a review of work styles in companies and other organizations. On the other hand, the disparity in career opportunities for women in regional areas remains a challenge. Compared to urban areas, regional areas have situations such as:
* Limited work style options
* Limited environments where skills can be utilized
* Few opportunities to encounter role models
Furthermore, in some regions, values of gender role division such as 'women should prioritize the home' or 'mothers should be this way' are still deeply rooted, and there are many women who think, 'I really want to do something, but I can't take the first step.' The outflow of population, where young women move from regional areas to urban areas for education or employment and do not return, is becoming more serious. It is a significant loss not only for individuals but also for regions when human resources with the potential to be active within the community cannot obtain opportunities due to their environment. In this context, 'creating an environment where women can be active' is an important theme directly linked to regional sustainability, in terms of creating an environment where they can continue to work flexibly and offering diverse work style options within the region, even when facing life events such as childbirth, childcare, or nursing care. To solve these current issues, WECA supports women's challenges and their first steps through both online and offline initiatives, delivering opportunities to realize their own way of working and careers, regardless of their place of residence or environment.
### Oshigoto MUSE Color Us Project - ZOOM Event
~Find Your First Step from Ten People's Ten Different Stories~
This event, 'Oshigoto MUSE Color Us Project (Karapuro),' will be held online over four sessions starting Thursday, April 2, 2026. The eight participating women are those who have actually taken a step towards entrepreneurship while living in regional areas. By experiencing their diverse stories, we aim to provide the realization that 'I might be able to do it too' and a trigger for action. Entrepreneurship is not for special people. It is one of the options that can be started with a small step, even in one's immediate environment. Karapuro is a place where you can encounter 'real triggers' to take that first step. It supports the 'first step' to turn the desire to 'try it' into a goal and connect it to action.

## Expanding the Cycle of Challenges from Online to the Community
WECA holds seminars and online exchange meetings related to career reconstruction, entrepreneurship support, and continuous business development, starting from online platforms, and also develops community-based offline initiatives.
At the 'Oshigoto MUSE EXPO' held at Hisaya Odori Park in Nagoya City on November 7-8, 2025, approximately 30 booths from across the country exhibited, and a total of 2,000 people visited. It created opportunities to experience and connect with the 'work' unique to modern women who achieve flexible work styles, learn, and take the next step.
Furthermore, the 'Oshigoto MUSE Contest in Okayama' is scheduled to be held in Okayama in June 2026, and expansion to other regions nationwide is planned. By connecting online learning and insights to real-world actions, we will create a chain of challenges within the community.
WECA aims for a society where everyone can choose their own way of working and living, regardless of location or environment. It is natural to be able to take on challenges even in regional areas, and each person's 'desire to do' takes shape within the community. And that challenge leads to the next person's step.
We aim to realize such a 'society where challenges circulate.'
