VALTEC Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo), which develops the cloud phone 'MOT/TEL', released an upgraded version of its local-only facial recognition system 'facet on-premises' on April 1, 2026, adding a function to print out authentication information such as tickets linked to facial recognition.

## ■ Background and Purpose of the Version Upgrade

'facet on-premises' is a facial recognition system that achieves higher security by keeping personal information within the internal corporate network, reducing the risk of important information like facial data leaking externally. We have previously provided API integration functions with automatic doors, admission gates, and attendance management systems. With this version upgrade, aiming for further operational efficiency for our customers and expansion of use cases, we have added a new function that enables printer output linked to facial recognition.

## ■ Main New Features and Changes of the Version Upgrade

### 1. Addition of Printer Integration Function

It now supports the function to print out authentication information and supplementary information upon performing facial recognition.
A 'Printer Integration' tab has been newly established on the management screen.
Within the tab, you can edit print content utilizing text and images, check previews, and perform test printing.
This allows the automation of various tasks, such as issuing tickets and seating charts at event receptions, and issuing reception slips upon entering a building.
*Currently, the only compatible printer is Epson's 'TM-T88VII', with plans to sequentially support more.

### 2. Revamped Management Screen UI (User Interface) for Improved Operability

On the management screen, frequently used management tabs such as 'Server' and 'facet' have been moved from the top of the screen to the left side menu. This enables intuitive operation matched to eye movement, allowing settings changes and status checks to be performed more smoothly.

## ■ Features of 'facet on-premises' (Conventional Features)

High-security operation in a local environment: Because personal information such as facial data does not leave the internal network, it ensures higher security than cloud versions.

High-speed and high-precision authentication: With a facial recognition rate of over 99% and high-speed recognition of about 1 second, efficient and accurate admission management is possible even for large groups.

Abundant API integration: Based on identity verification using facial recognition, passing permission at various gates and automatic clock-in/out in attendance management systems are possible.
