The Japan Standards Association (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Hiroshi Asahi) has released the Summer 2026 issue of its quarterly WEB journal "Standardization and Quality Control" Vol. 77 in June. This issue features "Two Major Features" that delve deeply into contemporary business trends and social issues. The first is "Visualizing Sensation and Thought." It explores data analysis and AI approaches for improving curling performance and the scientific standardization of stroke treatment. The second is "Considering Biodiversity." It examines how to respond to achieve nature positive (nature restoration), for which societal demand is increasing. Furthermore, the second installment of the popular serialized essay "Shunkashuto" by Manami Miyata, who is active as a novelist and talent, is also included.
