Scenes from the seminar. (Speaker: Naoki Kubo, Representative Director of WEAVE Inc.)

WEAVE Inc. (Headquarters: Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture; Representative Director: Naoki Kubo), a company based in Hiroshima that provides generative AI training for businesses, held an in-person seminar for company executives and DX promotion managers on June 17, 2026 (Wed.) at TKP Garden City Hiroshima Ekimae Ohashi. On the day, WEAVE demonstrated its in-house AI agent (AI employee), "Doutou Kin-nosuke (Kin-chan)," live. The company also conveyed the message that "to effectively utilize AI employees, it is essential to first improve each employee's AI literacy and 'verbalize their tasks,'" through an interactive workshop.

From seminar materials: "Towards a Company Where AI Employees Work on a Single Mac mini"

Background: From the Era of "Using" AI to the Era of AI "Working." Demonstrating Future Standards with Real-World Examples

Generative AI, including ChatGPT, has spread to many companies. The next standard is becoming "AI agents (AI employees)," entities that autonomously perform tasks upon receiving instructions. AI employees reside in internal chat tools like Slack and Teams, and work simply by receiving instructions via messages, as if talking to a person. WEAVE has been an early adopter of this "future norm" and operates it in-house. This seminar was held to provide participants with a firsthand experience of this working style, not just through words but also in practice.

Kin-chan can reside not only in Slack. It supports major business chats such as LINE WORKS, Microsoft Teams, Chatwork, Google Chat, LINE, Messenger, and WhatsApp. You can request tasks anytime just by opening your usual chat and talking to it.

Scenes Where AI Employee "Kin-chan" is Active: 100 Tasks Across All Departments, from Accounting to Video Production

At WEAVE, the AI employee "Kin-chan" handles approximately 100 tasks across all departments, not limited to a few specific areas. Its scope of work extends throughout the company, from accounting and finance to training, video production, sales, and secretarial duties.

From seminar materials: One AI employee on a Mac mini handles 100 tasks across all departments

Accounting/Finance (17 tasks): Automatic invoice creation, reconciliation of bank statements with accounts receivable, storing receipts in Drive, etc.

Training/Material Creation (27 tasks): Generation of complete training slides, creation of follow-up sheets from meeting minutes, survey analysis, etc.

Video/SNS Posting (18 tasks): Silent cut for long videos, automatic subtitle generation (497 subtitles), daily morning research for AI news, etc.

Sales/Marketing (13 tasks): Automation of form-based sales, automatic sorting of website inquiries, drafting email newsletters, etc.

Secretarial/General Affairs (12 tasks): Calendar registration via natural language, extraction of available slots, email composition, etc.

Automated Distribution/Behind-the-Scenes (13 tasks): Detection of unaddressed threads, morning news distribution, KPI aggregation/daily reports, etc.

Seminar Overview

Seminar Title: The Forefront of Generative AI Utilization (AI Employee Experience Seminar)

Date and Time: June 17, 2026 (Wed.) 14:00 - 15:30

Format: In-person

Venue: TKP Garden City Hiroshima Ekimae Ohashi (1-7 Kyobashi-cho, Minami-ku, Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, ASTY Hiroshima Kyobashi Building)

Speaker: Naoki Kubo, Representative Director, WEAVE Inc.

Target Audience: Company Executives, HR, DX Promotion Managers

Participants: Company executives, officers, and professionals from Hiroshima Prefecture and beyond (also offered online)

Highlights: Two Mechanisms Supporting Kin-chan: "Tool Integration" and "Skills"

The two mechanisms that enable AI employee "Kin-chan" to operate: "Tool Integration" and "Skills."

In the first half of the seminar, Kubo explained the mechanisms behind the AI employee "Kin-chan" by dividing them into "Tool Integration" and "Skills," while displaying the operation screen.

Tool Integration: Connects approximately 30 types of tools to execute multiple tasks with a single instruction.

Tool Integration: Connects approximately 30 types of tools to execute multiple tasks with a single instruction.

Kin-chan integrates with about 30 different tools to handle tasks ranging from creating estimates and invoices, registering calendar entries, distributing email newsletters, drafting social media posts, research, to content creation combining image generation, video generation, and subtitle editing. The characteristic feature is that all these tasks are consolidated by Kin-chan alone, rather than a person switching between multiple tools. Kubo explained, "As we integrate more tools, the possibilities continue to expand. Kin-chan remembers them for us, so we don't have to learn each one individually."

Skills: Verbalize tasks and teach them to AI. Once taught, it can be used by the entire company.

Skills: "Work procedure manuals" that verbalize tasks and are given to AI.

The other mechanism is "Skills." Skills are created by verbalizing the steps of a task and teaching them to the AI. For example, a task like "issuing an invoice" can be broken down into about 12 steps. Once Kin-chan is taught this, other team members do not need to teach it from scratch. The skills created by each employee are accumulated on one device, becoming an asset for the entire company.

During the workshop on the day, participants experienced this "skill creation." Each participant chose one task from their own company and wrote down the trigger (what initiates the action), the tools to be used, the procedure, and the final output (PDF, document, etc.). Some participants commented, "I had never broken down my work into such detailed words before."

Representative: "Business Management in a Few Years Will Change Depending on Whether You Can Master AI"

Naoki Kubo, Representative Director, WEAVE Inc.

I believe that corporate management in a few years will change significantly depending on whether AI can be utilized in business operations. Honestly, I never expected it to evolve this far, and AI employees are now indispensable to our company. Without AI, our workload might not have been manageable with fewer than 10 people.

However, ultimately, it depends on your ideas and your willingness to change. If you have an idea of "it would be great if this could be done," AI will show you how to achieve it. And to bring out those ideas, it is essential that each employee first interacts with AI and becomes capable of using it. We will continue to support that first step, transforming AI from something you know to something you can use.

Participant Feedback: 85% of Respondents Gave the Highest Satisfaction Rating

In the survey conducted on the day, 85% of attendees gave the highest satisfaction rating (5 out of 5 on a 5-point scale). Feedback included comments such as, "I felt that generative AI could be applied to business," "The instructor's explanation was easy to understand," and "The hands-on learning format was good."

"I was reminded of the importance of verbalization. Kin-chan's performance was also enjoyable." (Web Development / Management)

"There were many real-world examples. I gained new insights into how to use ChatGPT applications and about skills." (Law Firm / Manager)

"The discussion about ChatGPT's ability to integrate with business tools was very informative. I plan to try it out right away." (Advertising Company / Sales)

"Learning about AI's automation mechanisms has given me an opportunity to consider adopting it in the future." (Company Executive)

"First, let's try it. I want to accumulate experience with AI too." (Physical Therapy Office / Management)

The First Step to Utilizing AI Employees is Improving AI Literacy for All Employees

This seminar consistently demonstrated the reality that simply introducing AI employees does not automatically streamline operations. To delegate tasks to AI, the ability to verbalize tasks is necessary, and the foundation for this is the AI literacy of each employee. Without improving this, even AI employees cannot fully demonstrate their capabilities.

This is why WEAVE provides support from the initial stages of AI adoption.

Generative AI Experience Session (120 minutes): An introductory program where participants can experience ChatGPT, Gemini, etc., and realize "this is what can be done." Conducted for companies, Mihara Junior Chamber Inc., Hiroshima Prefecture Resource Recycling Association, high schools, etc.

Subsidy-Utilizing AI Training (approx. 12 hours): A practical training program that delves into practical applications, from basic usage to integration with real work, such as invoice automation. Combined with consulting, it is customized to the specific tasks of each company.

In-house Seminars (Every Wednesday, continuous sessions): Ongoing sessions that can be easily joined by theme. Scheduled to continue after June 24.

Our approach to AI utilization is to provide step-by-step support, moving from knowing to using to continuing to use AI, rather than a one-off event.
