WE AT (General Incorporated Association) is pleased to announce its participation as a STARTUP ECOSYSTEM PARTNER at GITEX ASIA 2026, a global tech event held in Singapore.

In this initiative, WE AT will host a booth alongside the "WE AT CHALLENGERS" (*), startups selected through our pitch contest "WE AT CHALLENGE," which aims to become one of Asia's largest festivals for well-being. We will also promote support for expansion into the Asian market and create opportunities for collaboration with local partners.

About GITEX ASIA 2026

GITEX is one of the world's leading technology events held primarily in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia, serving as a global innovation platform that brings together startups, large corporations, investors, and government officials.

GITEX ASIA serves as a hub connecting startups with capital, industry, and policy in the growing markets of Southeast Asia. Through exhibitions, pitches, and networking, it is positioned as a venue for creating substantial opportunities for fundraising, business partnerships, and international expansion.

Held from April 9 to 10, 2026, at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, the event will gather over 23,000 technology leaders, companies, startups, investors, government officials, and ecosystem partners from more than 110 countries to discuss and shape the implementation of AI in society, its governance, and its deployment in the real economy.

Background and Significance

While the number of Japanese startups and the amount of funding raised have been increasing in recent years, challenges remain in achieving business expansion and large-scale growth in the global market.

In the Asian market, in particular, differences in demographics, infrastructure, and healthcare/industrial structures require business models based on collaboration with local companies and adaptation to specific use cases, rather than simple product deployment.

GITEX ASIA is considered a key hub for Japanese startups because it gathers investors, corporations, and government officials, making it an environment where such "collaboration premised on social implementation" is easily established.

Through this participation, WE AT will provide support at the implementation level, including building relationships with local companies and investors, creating business partnership and PoC (Proof of Concept) opportunities, and concretizing expansion strategies in the Asian market, thereby promoting the global expansion of Japanese startups.
