Wolfgang's Steakhouse by Wolfgang Zwiener, the New York-based steakhouse, is launching its first-ever teppanyaki brand, "Wolfgang’s Steakhouse by Wolfgang Zwiener Teppan" (hereinafter referred to as "Wolfgang’s Steakhouse TEPPAN"). This brand will hold a special collaboration event with "GEJO (Gejo)", a popular sushi restaurant that opened in 2020 in Iwase City, Toyama Prefecture. GEJO is known for its "storytelling course meals" that utilize Toyama's seasonal ingredients and local traditional crafts, attracting attention from gourmets both domestically and internationally. The collaboration will take place during dinner on Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25, with two seatings per day.

"GEJO" focuses on world-class sushi and Japanese cuisine, integrating seasonal ingredients, Toyama's traditional crafts, and regional culture. Each dish expresses the charm of Toyama, offering a special dining experience where guests can savor the region's stories through their five senses.

This collaboration will feature Chef Takahiro Shimojo, who leads "GEJO", and "Wolfgang’s Steakhouse TEPPAN". Both "Wolfgang’s Steakhouse TEPPAN" and "GEJO" value "world-class quality," "pursuit of the finest," and "memorable dining experiences." This collaboration will feature a unique menu co-prepared by TEPPAN craftsman Ogawa and Mr. Shimojo, as well as steaks grilled on the teppan right before your eyes, made with rare U.S. Department of Agriculture "Prime Grade" beef, dry-aged in the restaurant's dedicated aging cellar. Takahiro Shimojo of "GEJO"

Born in Toyama Prefecture. After training at local Toyama French restaurant "Cave Yunoki" and sushi restaurant "Sushito", he went abroad. He traveled mainly in Europe, including France, Italy, and Spain, gaining knowledge and exploring food culture, including serving as a private chef in Bulgaria. Upon returning to Japan, he honed his skills in Toyama and opened "GEJO" in 2020. He fuses Toyama's ingredients with his global experience, expressing gastronomy centered on sushi and Japanese cuisine.
