Meits Co., Ltd. The seminar is titled "The Golden Route for Integrated Junior and Senior High School Students: Career Strategy Seminar to Win Your Desired University by Balancing Regular Tests and Eiken®."

This seminar primarily targets students and parents from integrated junior and senior high schools with a large enrollment in our Yokohama area classrooms (Yokohama, Ofuna, Fujisawa, Kamiooka). We will introduce specialized strategies for regular test preparation, unique to our expert tutoring school, and career strategies centered on Eiken® utilization.

According to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's "Survey on the Implementation Status of National, Public, and Private University and Junior College Entrant Selection" (FY2025), 53.6% of university entrants finalize their destination through comprehensive selection or school recommendation selection.

University entrance exams are increasingly becoming a "year-end decision" trend, where high school grades (evaluations) and English external examination scores significantly influence admission. In fact, 478 universities (63% of the total) utilize external English examinations for admissions, with Eiken® accounting for 91.6% of the tests used by examinees (Obunsha Education Information Center, FY2025).

◆ Part 1: Regular Test Preparation by a Specialized Tutoring School (10:20 AM - 10:50 AM)

Target: Parents of junior high 1st year to high school 1st year students

We will explain how to overcome the limitations of home study through a "scientific approach" and "thorough study management." We will introduce study methods that utilize "work excitement" based on neuroscience, rather than waiting for motivation to naturally arise.

Furthermore, we will share practical methods unique to specialized tutoring schools, such as "school material tracking rate," and "confirmation test pass rate," which WAYS emphasizes as indicators for academic improvement.

We will also introduce initiatives to foster non-cognitive skills such as "the ability to complete what has been decided" and "self-management skills" through weekly vocabulary tests.

◆ Part 2: Desired Career Path Strategy (11:05 AM - 11:35 AM)

Target: Parents of junior high 3rd year to high school 1st year students

We will explain concrete strategies for achieving desired career paths, whether through internal advancement or external university examinations.

We will present the latest career trends, which differ significantly from the parent generation, and specific target periods and levels for Eiken® acquisition, which is a powerful tool for university entrance exams and internal advancement.

We will provide clear information on "what to do now," such as common pitfalls in choosing between humanities and sciences, and strategies for different desired career paths.

*Although Part 2 is intended for "junior high 3rd year to high school 1st year students," parents of junior high 1st and 2nd year students are also welcome to participate.
