Conclusion of a 'Partnership Agreement on the Promotion of Heatstroke Prevention' with Obu City, Aichi Prefecture

Waterstand Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture; President: Hitoshi Honda; hereinafter "the Company"), which operates a rental business for purified water dispensers, announces that it concluded a "Partnership Agreement on the Promotion of Heatstroke Prevention" with Obu City, Aichi Prefecture (Mayor: Hideto Okamura), on Monday, March 16, 2026.

Overview of the Agreement This agreement was concluded with the aim of having Obu City and Waterstand Co., Ltd. collaborate to promote initiatives for heatstroke prevention and the reduction of plastic waste within Obu City. By improving water supply environments at "cool share" spots and other locations established by the city, the partnership will promote initiatives that contribute to heatstroke prevention by encouraging hydration. At the same time, it will work to reduce the use of single-use plastic bottles by encouraging the use of personal bottles.

Obu City will handle the dissemination and awareness-raising of these initiatives, while the Company will provide technology and expertise regarding water dispensers and cooperate in their maintenance and management. Both parties will deepen their cooperation through regular consultations, contributing to the reduction of environmental impact and the creation of a sustainable community.
