Spring Getaway: Washinmura in Chiba Upgrades Day-Trip BBQ & Sauna Experience

Spring is approaching. For those thinking, "I want to go somewhere this spring," we have exciting news from Washinmura, a glamping facility located in the rural landscapes of Futtsu City, Chiba Prefecture.

We have newly added a dedicated sauna powder room (equipped with showers and washbasins) to our day-trip "Forest BBQ & Sauna Plan."

The flow of the day—from BBQ to the wood-fired sauna, then the cold bath, and finally the powder room—can now be seamlessly completed entirely within the forest.

Washinmura's Day-Trip Area: Like Having the Forest to Yourself

The dedicated day-trip area at Washinmura spreads across a rustic forest that exudes a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere. Guests are free to stroll through the grounds (excluding some guest-only areas) and enjoy interacting with various animals, including 15 rescue cats, goats, dogs, and Silkie chickens.

Enjoy a BBQ under the dappled spring sunlight, followed by a private wood-fired sauna. This extraordinary time, unavailable in the city, is easily accessible from Tokyo.

This Spring's Upgrade: The Completion of the Dedicated Sauna Powder Room

In 2025, Washinmura added a cold bath to the wood-fired sauna, enabling a fully authentic sauna experience. However, we received significant feedback such as, "I'm worried about sweating after the sauna..." and "I want a place to get ready before heading home."

In response, we have newly constructed a dedicated sauna powder room complete with showers and washbasins. After thoroughly enjoying the sauna, guests can rinse off in the shower and get ready at the washbasin before leaving. This eliminates any worries about the journey home after refreshing.

- Plan with ingredients: From 9,800 JPY / person (minimum 2 people)
- Plan without ingredients: From 7,800 JPY / person (minimum 2 people)
