Washinmura Traditional House Glamping in Futtsu, Chiba Launches 'Winter Appreciation Project' Advance Unveiling Lucky Bag Exclusively for Repeat Guests

Washinmura is a 200-year-old traditional Japanese house glamping facility located in Futtsu City, Chiba Prefecture.

Surrounded by the nature of Minamiboso, our facility started the winter-limited "Kotatsu, Mandarin Oranges, and Cats" experience this December. The time spent sharing warmth with 16 rescue cats in a quiet satoyama village has been well received by many guests as a digital detox to forget everyday life.

Today, we would like to announce a special "Winter Appreciation Project" for our repeat guests who have supported Washinmura.

In response to the voices of our guests who said, "We want to give shape to this healing time and take it home," Washinmura has decided to fully launch its first original goods brand in 2026.

Prior to this full-scale rollout, we have prepared an "Advance Unveiling Lucky Bag" to express our daily gratitude.

This is a special selection (equivalent to 3,000 to 5,000 yen) packed with new, unreleased goods that the owner has carefully selected and imbued with a story by hand, one by one, as well as limited, not-for-sale items available only through this project.

What Washinmura aims for is the realization of the "Satoyama Coexistence Circulation Project (tentative name)," which goes beyond the framework of a mere accommodation facility. The core of this project is to take responsibility for and protect the lives of the 16 rescue cats living in Washinmura.

We have always allocated a portion of our profits to conservation activities, but moving forward, through this brand, we will establish a system where pleasing our guests directly links to the healthy lives of the cats and the maintenance of the beautiful satoyama landscape.
