warabi PILATES (Yoronjima dialect for "child," Kagoshima City, Representative: Yamato Fujita (Physical Therapist)), which advocates the concept of "A moment of space for myself, who works hard every day," is scheduled to renew and open its Shimouarata branch in early August 2026 with the introduction of machine Pilates. The studio, which has so far focused on personal training with mat Pilates and bodywork, will further expand its ability to design personalized programs by adding machines.

We will begin accepting priority applications for new trial lessons related to the renewal via our official LINE starting at 9:00 PM on July 10, 2026.

What We Want to Deliver is "Space," Not Pilates Itself

The "warabi" in warabi PILATES means "child" in the dialect of Yoron Island, the representative's roots. It signifies time to immerse oneself in one's own being, free from any constraints. We created the studio and have been delivering lessons with the desire that it becomes a time and place to deliver "A moment of space for myself, who works hard every day" to those who have lost the space in their minds and bodies due to overwork.

What we want to provide is not the ability to perform exercises. Through Pilates, bodywork, and conversations with instructors, we aim to create a little space in the mind and body, making everyday life after leaving the studio feel just a little lighter than before. Pilates and bodywork are the means to achieve this. Centered on our knowledge as physical therapists, we value the concept of "correcting the body through movement."

In August, the Shimouarata branch will be renewed with the introduction of machine Pilates.

warabi PILATES is a personal studio specializing in "bodywork x Pilates" with instructors holding national medical qualifications, operating two branches in Kagoshima City: Sasunuki Station Front branch and Shimouarata branch. We are pleased to announce in advance that the Shimouarata branch is scheduled to renew and open in early August 2026 with the introduction of machine Pilates.

The equipment to be introduced is one "Reformer with Half Tower" manufactured by ness motion.

Until now, the Shimouarata branch has operated as a personal studio for mat Pilates and bodywork. However, with the introduction of machines, we will combine mats, machines, and props (assistive devices) to further broaden our ability to design programs tailored to each individual's goals and physical condition. Instead of making it a machine-only studio, combining the strengths of mat work and bodywork cultivated so far with machines is what makes warabi PILATES unique and a strength that cannot be matched by competitors.

As a studio with instructors holding national medical qualifications, we carefully assess the client's physical condition and design a customized program for them. We will further deepen the overall concept of "connecting medicine and fitness" at the Shimouarata branch. The reformer's supportive structure makes it easier for beginners to achieve correct form, which we will leverage in combination with personal instruction.

Ahead of the general recruitment, we are accepting applications for a "Waiting List" for new trial lessons.

The Shimouarata branch is a completely reservation-only personal studio with one seat. Currently, new client recruitment is limited to secure sessions for existing members, but trial sessions are scheduled to resume sequentially from early August. As a studio that provides detailed instruction to each individual, the number of available trial lesson slots is limited.

Therefore, we will be accepting applications for a "Waiting List" to receive priority guidance ahead of the general recruitment. Those who register for the list will receive priority notification when trial sessions resume, as well as information about the renewal opening commemorative plan described later.

Please note that as a system for providing detailed instruction, even if you register for the list, acceptance will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and it does not guarantee a trial lesson slot in August. We appreciate your understanding in advance.

Please reply with the required information (name, age, contact information, physical concerns, desired branch) according to the instructions.

・Target/Desired Branch: The commemorative plan for the renewal is for the Shimouarata branch. Depending on your preference, guidance for the Sasunuki Station Front branch may also be available, although slots are limited.

・Notes: Acceptance is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration does not guarantee a trial lesson slot in August.
