NX Onebishi Archives Inc. and Apix Inc. Conclude Sales Agency Agreement for Content Management Storage "WAN-RECORD Plus"

NX Onebishi Archives Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yutaka Takahashi, hereinafter "NX Onebishi Archives") is pleased to announce that it has concluded a sales agency agreement with Apix Inc. (Chuo-ku, Osaka; President and CEO: Takatoshi Kawamura, hereinafter "Apix") for its content management storage, "WAN-RECORD Plus".

This agreement will not only enable the sale of "WAN-RECORD Plus" provided by NX Onebishi Archives to customers through Apix, but also allow for the provision of implementation support, such as operational design and requirements definition, by Apix.

Details of Collaboration

NX Onebishi Archives will provide "WAN-RECORD Plus" as a vendor and offer Apix methods for utilizing "WAN-RECORD Plus" in combination with its own expertise in information management.

As a sales agent, Apix will provide support to move forward with practical tasks, from clarifying customer challenges to implementation, migration, and operational stabilization.

Value Provided to Customers

Both NX Onebishi Archives and Apix are long-established BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) providers with extensive experience and a proven track record in supporting document management for numerous clients across various industries. By combining the knowledge of both companies, not just in tool sales and implementation, but also in offering more valuable information management proposals to customers.

Furthermore, both companies have strengths in document storage and digitization, and will support customers in streamlining their overall information management by sharing roles as partners, not just through tool implementation.

Future Developments

NX Onebishi Archives will strive to enhance the value that "WAN-RECORD Plus" brings to customers through the development of generative AI functions and UI. Apix will support initiatives to evolve corporate information asset management from "storage" to "organization, inheritance, and utilization" through the proposal and sale of "WAN-RECORD Plus". Both companies will continue to contribute to the promotion of DX and productivity improvement for customers from both information management and operational aspects.

"WAN-RECORD Plus" is an innovative content management storage that embodies the new concept of "Records Banking System" as the future of data management in the DX era. It is the culmination of over 50 years of information management expertise accumulated by NX Onebishi Archives, which pioneered the "secure information storage" business in Japan and has supported "information utilization." It is designed to organize and inherit data long-term, transforming scattered data into assets. With abundant features to improve data management and utilization, from attribute information organization to API integration, it allows for centralized management of various types of information, whether paper-based or digital.

Additionally, it features generative AI functionality (AI Tagging) that automatically extracts and suggests "necessary management item values" from documents based on pre-defined extraction rules (prompts), supporting the automation of document sorting and determination. It supports PDFs and images without embedded text, with generative AI assisting in document sorting and determination, which previously required significant time and manual effort. This enables file management where knowledge is naturally accumulated.
