Seiko House Hall will host the second exhibition in seven years by calligrapher Soqyu Nagamori from Thursday, July 16 to Sunday, July 26, 2026.

The theme of this exhibition is 'Gratitude to My Masters – Light and Wind'.

Nagamori shares, 'When I encounter words I wish to write, I hold them in my heart and expand my imagination, as if drawing in the sky. The teachings of my mentors, Koji Kinoko and Teigi Kinoko—learn from the classics, let your work be free and always creative, never settle—have been my source of courage.'

The exhibition will feature a wide range of works, including modern poetic calligraphy, kanji scripts, mixed scripts with Roman letters, and pieces enhanced with mineral pigments. Also on display are small-scale works suitable for framing or hanging, with texts drawn from poetry and haiku, meant to be cherished in private spaces.

Experience Nagamori’s free-spirited calligraphy, deeply rooted in tradition yet unbound by convention, radiating a dynamic energy that resonates with viewers.

◎ Gallery Talks by Soqyu Nagamori will be held.
