The Wako Annex Cake & Chocolate Shop is pleased to announce the arrival of the latest addition to its new top-tier line, the "Premier Series": the "Premier Fromage Fleur blanche (White Flower)." The "Premier Series" symbolizes Wako's approach to confectionery, pursuing the ultimate in everything from ingredient selection to production methods. The "Premier Fromage Fleur blanche," the fourth installment in this series, is a masterpiece that took approximately 10 months to complete, utilizing four carefully selected types of cheese and eggs from free-range chickens. Its gorgeous appearance, reminiscent of a white flower, creates a sophisticated presence. Designed as a cake to color special moments that stand apart from the everyday, these cakes use the finest selected ingredients. Our pastry chefs have poured their refined skills into a layered structure that is meticulously calculated down to the changes in texture and flavor. It is a taste worthy of the name "Premier" (top-class), embodying Wako's aesthetic sense. The cake is approximately 1.5 times the size of a standard cake, making it perfect for sharing or for enjoying as a luxurious treat all to yourself. Premier Fromage Fleur blanche -White Flower- By combining cream cheese from Normandy, France, with aged Gouda cheese from Koiwai Farm, Italian buffalo mozzarella, and domestic mascarpone, we have created a flavor that is both rich and light on the palate. The two layers—a baked cheesecake cooked at a low temperature on the inside and a mozzarella mousse on the outside—create a smooth texture, while the base features a crispy streusel containing aged Gouda cheese. The interplay of acidity, richness, and saltiness, which changes with every bite, is a key attraction of this dessert. ◎ While this product is available year-round, the number of units sold per day is limited.
