Saburomaru Distillery, which began whisky production in 1952, underwent a major renovation in 2017. Recently, it has expanded its facilities to include a distillery restaurant, the "Re:COOPERAGE" recycled barrel workshop, blending and workshop rooms, and a hand-fill room, offering visitors a unique "five-senses" experience. These efforts resulted in a record-high 45,000 visitors in fiscal year 2025. By joining this project, the distillery aims to further stimulate Toyama's local industry and contribute to the growth of the Japanese whisky industry.
