Since starting whisky production in 1952 and undergoing a major distillery renovation in 2017, the Saburomaru Distillery has recently developed new facilities on its premises. These include a distillery restaurant, a regenerative barrel workshop called Re:COOPERAGE, a blender & workshop room, and a hand-fill room. We have been enhancing our services to provide visitors with an experience that engages all five senses and is truly unique. As a result, the number of visitors in the fiscal year 2025 reached a record high of approximately 45,000 (according to Wakatsuru Shuzo's research). We intend to continue growing as a visitor facility and, through our participation in the "Japanese Whisky Passport Copper Seal Book," contribute to the revitalization of local Toyama industry and tourism, as well as the further development of Japan's whisky industry.
