[Over half of high school girls feel "anxious about the new life (new semester)"]
First, we conducted a survey asking current high school girls, "Which emotion do you feel towards the new life (new semester)?"
When asked to choose between "Excited" and "Anxious," 48.4% of the high school girls answered that they were excited, and 51.6% answered that they were anxious.

Looking at the reasons of the students who answered that they were excited, the majority of the answers were:
"I'm happy that I'll make new friends!"
"Because I'm looking forward to new encounters!!!!"
"Because I'm looking forward to class changes"
"Because I can make new juniors and friends"
It is a natural feeling to expect "new encounters," which can be said to be the true essence of a new life, and meeting people who share the same nervousness in a new environment has the potential to greatly influence one's subsequent life. It seems that the expectation for these encounters is directly linked to the feeling of excitement.

The next most common opinions were:
"My heart races for new things"
"Because I can do new things in a new environment"
"I'm looking forward to moving, living alone, and my new life"
"Because I'm the type who looks forward to anything new"
It seems that many high school girls associate "new environment = excitement."
Around this time of year, we increasingly see the headline "New Life Support Campaign." It seems that the expectation of getting new things in a new town and waiting for a life different from before is also a contributing factor. Touching a world they didn't know might be the cause of their excitement.

Other impressive answers included voices unique to high school girls, such as:
"Because I can dye my hair when I become a college student"
"Because I have things I want to do and goals in my last year as a high school girl (JK) in 3rd grade"
"Because my friends are going to the same school"
We can see that they perceive the relaxation of school rules and the increased freedom of action as the "joy of being able to choose for themselves."
In addition to the feeling unique to the "last year of JK" of wanting to enjoy their limited time to the fullest, such as hanging out in uniforms and taking pictures, the sense of security of spending time in the same environment with good friends also seems to be one of the reasons for taking a positive view of their new life.

On the other hand, looking at the answers of the 51.6% of high school girls who answered that they were anxious...
