We are pleased to report on the press conference held today regarding this event.

The "TGC Regional Revitalization Project" began in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, in 2015. Starting with "TGC Kitakyushu 2015," the project has held TGC events in nine regions: Toyama, Hiroshima, Shizuoka, Kumamoto, Wakayama, Matsuyama, Kagawa, and Niigata. TGC, a platform at the forefront of fashion, entertainment, technology, and social issues, not only delivers overwhelming entertainment experiences that stir the heart but also fosters new emotions and possibilities that illuminate the future of each region by bringing together TGC's cutting edge with the unique charms and heritage of local communities, broadcasting them to Japan and the world. At last year's TGC Kitakyushu in October 2025, the economic ripple effect was approximately 2.656 billion yen, and the total number of people experiencing the event reached a record high for TGC Kitakyushu, with a cumulative total of approximately 2,230,500 people (Venue attendees: approximately 10,500 / Total viewers of live broadcast on ABEMA's free exclusive stream, Lemino, and re-broadcasts on TGC's official LINE VOOM, X, and YouTube channels: approximately 2,220,000 people), concluding with great success.

The theme for this milestone 10th anniversary event, "SBI Securities Presents TGC Kitakyushu 2026," is "Bloom the Baton." This 10th anniversary marks a moment for TGC Kitakyushu to pass on the history and cherished values cultivated in this city to the sensibilities of the next generation. This is not mere succession, but a creative chain reaction that enhances beauty through the addition of new individuality. Like flowers nurtured by Fukuoka's rich nature, the sentiments of multiple generations will intertwine, vividly coloring and making bloom the future of Kitakyushu. With gratitude for 10 years, we pass the baton of brilliance to the next decade.

The key visual depicts a world of new flowers that have transformed their appearance towards the future while inheriting DNA. By mixing existing flowers with unseen, unknown flowers featuring elements like skeletons and shocking colors, it portrays how flowers connect to the future, overlapping from past to present, and present to future.

Kotomi Tachibana (CANDY TUNE), a native of Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, took the stage representing TGC at the press conference.

She began by describing the appeal of TGC: "What's amazing about TGC is how it disseminates the latest information on fashion and makeup. Also, since I'm an idol, I always look forward to meeting my fans in opportunities different from my usual live performances. The biggest difference from a live show is the cheers; we often have intense live performances, but TGC has many female attendees, so I get to walk the stage and perform with a fresh feeling that's different from usual." Regarding her first appearance at TGC Kitakyushu, she said, "I've loved TGC since before I became part of CANDY TUNE, and since Kitakyushu is my hometown, I've attended TGC Kitakyushu many times. I'm truly happy to be making my first appearance at TGC Kitakyushu. I've been to TGC events in various regions, but it was always my dream to be in TGC Kitakyushu, so it's a dream come true to be here as a model after attending as an audience member. I think I'll have different emotions, and I want to energize my hometown. I'm not the type to get nervous on stage, so I think I'll be very nervous until the actual performance, but I'm more excited to finally be on this dream stage. As this is the 10th anniversary of TGC Kitakyushu, I want to make it ten times more exciting, doubling the energy!" She also spoke about the charms of Kitakyushu City: "The first thing that comes to mind is that the food is truly delicious. I'm often active in Tokyo, but even when I'm in Tokyo, I often crave food from Fukuoka! So, when I come back, I want to eat a lot. I'm also looking forward to the delicious catering at this TGC Kitakyushu." Finally, she sent a message for TGC Kitakyushu: "It's a long-held dream for me to appear at TGC Kitakyushu, and I want to deliver the charm of Kitakyushu even more to everyone. I myself want to energize the event both before and during the day, so I would be delighted if you all would come and join us at the venue! Let's make some fun memories!"

Furthermore, the "W TOKYO x LDH JAPAN Regional Revitalization Project" (Note 2), a unique regional revitalization initiative by two leading entertainment companies in Japan, W TOKYO Inc. and LDH JAPAN Inc., will be implemented for the fourth consecutive year at TGC Kitakyushu! A video message from EXILE TETSUYA, a key figure in the project, was shown at the press conference. (Excerpt from video message below)

This project utilizes the TGC platform to energize the nation through entertainment, promote SDGs, and foster regional revitalization. Our contribution lies in entertainment. On the TGC stage, artists from LDH JAPAN collaborate with students working hard in dance at each TGC venue to create stages that promote SDG Goal 4. Additionally, the "LDH Dance Workshop Show," which I produce, is held nationwide, primarily promoting SDG Goal 3. We create stages that everyone, from children to the elderly, can enjoy, move their bodies to, and experience dance. Since 2022, we have brought smiles and health to over 30,000 people through dance. This year, we want to deliver energy from Kitakyushu to the rest of Japan through the power of entertainment, so please come and join us at the venue!

The press conference also featured Seitaro Hattori (Governor of Fukuoka Prefecture), Kazuhisa Takeuchi (Mayor of Kitakyushu City), and Hiroyuki Ogawa, Senior Managing Director of SBI Securities Co., Ltd., the platinum partner for "SBI Securities Presents TGC Kitakyushu 2026." SBI Securities, a pioneer in online securities in Japan since the launch of its internet trading service in 1999, operates under the management philosophy of "Customer Centricity" and continues to provide "industry-lowest fees with industry-highest service." In recent years, with the spread of the NISA system and growing interest in financial education, they have been supporting asset building for a wide range of generations, from young people to families. They also shared their thoughts on the event. (Excerpts from press conference comments below)

- Seitaro Hattori (Governor of Fukuoka Prefecture)

"Bloom the Baton" is a wonderful, vibrant, and beautiful theme for this year. We all eventually pass on the baton of life to the next generation. The theme is a grand vision of the baton, passed from past generations and cherished values to the next, blossoming into a magnificent flower that adorns Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture. For me, who has been involved with TGC Kitakyushu since its first event, this 10th anniversary is a significant milestone. I am deeply pleased to share this historic moment with so many of you under this wonderful theme. Let's make TGC Kitakyushu a success.

Furthermore, the "W TOKYO x LDH JAPAN Regional Revitalization Project" is a truly exciting initiative that delivers dreams, challenges, and confidence to children through the entertainment of dance. Last year, students from the Tokiwa High School Dance Club stood on the TGC Kitakyushu stage alongside top artists from LDH JAPAN. For these high school students, it was likely a life-changing opportunity to break out of their shells and discover a new self. This project will be held again this year. The participants in this project are the ones who will lead Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture, and Japan in the future. I sincerely hope they will believe in their infinite inner potential and challenge themselves wholeheartedly towards their dreams.

- Kazuhisa Takeuchi (Mayor of Kitakyushu City)

TGC Kitakyushu has become established as an opportunity for many generations to experience authenticity and a catalyst for dreams and challenges. It is loved by many not just as a fashion event, but as an event that connects people, fosters growth, and adds color to the city. This year's theme, "Bloom the Baton," aligns perfectly with Kitakyushu City's value of passing on important experiences to the next generation. We want to create a flow where experiences are passed down across generations and then blossom in the next. This time, we especially aim to convey Kitakyushu's spirit of intergenerational challenge to the nation through the stage, where young people can harbor dreams, children can have aspirations, and seniors can shine.

I am also deeply grateful for the support from EXILE TETSUYA and everyone involved in the "W TOKYO x LDH JAPAN Regional Revitalization Project" in nurturing the dreams of Kitakyushu's children. Above all, being able to interact closely with artists active on the front lines is a valuable experience and asset, and I want to express my gratitude for creating such precious opportunities. I sincerely pray that this will be a grand stage for young people, children, and everyone to challenge themselves towards their dreams.

- Hiroyuki Ogawa (Senior Managing Director, SBI Securities Co., Ltd.)

There are two reasons why we decided to sponsor TGC Kitakyushu. Firstly, Kitakyushu City advocates for supporting the challenges of young people, and SBI Securities also wishes to support challenges through investment and asset building for young people. In that sense, we resonate with Kitakyushu City. Secondly, we want more people in Fukuoka Prefecture and Kitakyushu City to become familiar with SBI Securities. Some may think that securities companies are primarily used by seniors or the wealthy, but in fact, approximately 40% of those who opened accounts in the past year were in their 20s or younger, and 40% of that group were women. In that regard, we felt that TGC was a perfect fit, which was one of the reasons for our sponsorship. We are planning initiatives to make asset building feel more accessible on the day, so please look forward to it.

(Note 1) ■ What is the TGC Regional Revitalization Project?

As a predecessor to the "Regional Industry Vitalization Project," TGC began in March 2009 with the "Cabinet Office's Regional Vitality Regeneration Project ~Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture: Eyewear~." With the aim of revitalizing regional industries across Japan, TGC has held promotional booths and stage events at the TGC (Tokyo) venue, as well as holding TGC events in regional cities such as Nagoya, Okinawa, and Fukushima. In 2015, utilizing the TGC platform, we launched the "TGC Regional Revitalization Project" with the philosophy of regional revitalization not only by broadcasting regional charms and industries nationwide but also by providing opportunities to experience and encounter "Tokyo's cutting edge." Starting with TGC Kitakyushu 2015 held in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture in the same year, the project has expanded its host locations year by year to Toyama (first in the Hokuriku region), Hiroshima (first in the Chugoku region), Shizuoka, Kumamoto, Wakayama (first in the Kansai region), Matsuyama and Kagawa (first in Shikoku), and Niigata. We will continue to promote the charm of regional cities through TGC.

(Note 2) ■ What is the W TOKYO x LDH JAPAN Regional Revitalization Project?

This is a new project launched in November 2022 through a partnership between W TOKYO Inc. and LDH JAPAN Inc. It aims to contribute to local communities and promote SDGs through collaborations between entertainment, including dance, and local governments, utilizing the venues of TGC events held across the country. The project focuses on three main axes: creating opportunities for people of all ages to experience dance, promoting SDG Goal "3. Good Health and Well-being"; fostering the next generation and creating entertainment experience opportunities through dance, promoting SDG Goal "4. Quality Education"; and cooperating with local governments, W TOKYO, and LDH JAPAN to achieve goals, promoting SDG Goal "17. Partnerships for the Goals."
