While listening to music is easy and enjoyable, learning an instrument and playing it yourself often feels like a high hurdle.

The VR piano game "Sigure" was born from the developer's experience of giving up piano as a child and struggling to restart as an adult.

Over approximately one year since its release in February 2026, we have continuously updated it, and the basic functions for piano practice are now in place. However, we aim to implement further updates in the future to make piano playing even more enjoyable.

This time, we would like to share our dream of "enriching these functions to create the ultimate piano game!"

Currently, VR piano games connect electronic pianos to VR goggles with a cable to determine Good/Bad judgments, so they do not support acoustic pianos like grand pianos.

In the future, we aim to incorporate a function that judges pitch from live sound, allowing users to enjoy the sound and feel of playing a grand piano.

Piano performance would be even more enjoyable with effects like cherry blossoms, beams, or splashes of water emanating from the keys played, or an aura appearing from the hands.

◾️ Virtual Recital

It would be fun if people could gather in a virtual space for a piano recital, even if they are physically far apart.

While similar VR services already exist, "Sigure" also hopes to host authentic and immersive piano recitals someday.

Performers could use 3D effects, allowing the audience to enjoy not only the sound but also the visual experience.

With future advancements in VR/MR technology, VR goggles are expected to become as lightweight as sunglasses.

Furthermore, if the accuracy of VR gloves improves to provide tactile feedback when pressing keys, it should become possible to play the piano anywhere.

A time may come when people can enjoy playing the piano even without owning one.

It would be very enjoyable if users could have piano performance battles or duets with each other, whether online or in real-world locations.

Combining karaoke and piano into a game, allowing for comprehensive scoring of both singing ability and performance, would broaden the ways to enjoy it.
