Wendy's First Kitchen and First Kitchen to Launch V Point Service Starting June 29

Wendy's Japan Co., Ltd., First Kitchen Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Osamu Murashiki; hereinafter "First Kitchen"), V Point Marketing Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yokohama, Kanagawa; President and Executive Officer: Seigo Hirota; hereinafter "V Point Marketing"), and Sumitomo Mitsui Card Company, Limited (Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo; President, Executive Officer, and CEO: Yukihiko Onishi; hereinafter "Sumitomo Mitsui Card") will begin a new service at all 104 locations (excluding racecourse stores) of "Wendy's First Kitchen" and "First Kitchen" operated by First Kitchen, starting Monday, June 29, 2026. Customers who present their mobile V Card will be able to earn and redeem V Points.

"Wendy's First Kitchen" is a collaboration between the U.S.-born hamburger chain "Wendy's" and Japan's homegrown "First Kitchen." Offering authentic American-style burgers along with original dishes such as freshly made pasta, it currently operates 74 locations (as of June 29, 2026) primarily in the Kanto and Kansai regions, attracting many customers. "First Kitchen," founded in 1977 in Japan, is a hamburger chain with 30 locations nationwide. Known for its menu tailored to Japanese palates, popular items include the "Bacon Egg Burger," as well as flavored fries, pasta, and desserts—offering unique options not typically found at traditional burger shops. While both "Wendy's First Kitchen" and "First Kitchen" have distinct characteristics, each brand offers shared menu items as well as products that highlight their individual strengths.

With this new initiative, customers dining at "Wendy's First Kitchen" and "First Kitchen" operated by First Kitchen can earn 1 V Point for every 200 yen (tax included) spent by presenting the mobile V Card available via the V Point app or similar services at the time of payment. Additionally, when paying with a Sumitomo Mitsui Card, customers will earn extra V Points as payment points.

Accumulated points can be used at "Wendy's First Kitchen" and "First Kitchen" at a rate of 1 point = 1 yen. Points can also be redeemed at approximately 160,000 V Point partner stores across Japan and at around 100 million Visa merchant locations worldwide.

To commemorate the launch of the V Point service, all customers who use the mobile V Card will receive a complimentary "[Wendy's First Kitchen][First Kitchen] 5pt V Card Coupon." From June 29 (Mon) to July 31 (Fri), customers who pre-set the designated V Card coupon via the V Point app or similar services and present their mobile V Card at "Wendy's First Kitchen" or "First Kitchen" will automatically receive 5 V Points. First Kitchen, V Point Marketing, and Sumitomo Mitsui Card will continue to provide enjoyable services to an increasing number of customers through the V Point program at "Wendy's First Kitchen" and "First Kitchen."
