IGPVP Establishes Kansai Office

Ignition Point Venture Partners (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Tomoki Tashiro; hereinafter 'IGPVP') established its Kansai office in June 2026 and has begun full-scale business activities in the Kansai region. IGPVP, under the brand statement 'CENTER OF SYNERGY,' has been promoting the formation of communities that create next-generation societies together with LP investors and startups. The company aims to be at the center of all innovation through the 'fusion of existing and new industries' and 'N-to-N co-creation.' The Kansai region, centered on Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe, possesses a diverse industrial base including manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, and energy, and is an innovation hub with a high concentration of leading universities and research institutions. In recent years, startup support initiatives by both the public and private sectors have become active, steadily fostering an environment where new businesses can emerge. While IGPVP has previously promoted co-creation with startups and corporations nationwide from its base in Tokyo, it recognized the significant potential of the startup ecosystem in the Kansai region and determined that continuous relationship building and a more detailed support system rooted in the region were essential. Last October, the company held its first 'GLUE! KANSAI,' and in April of this year, it held 'GLUE! KYOTO' aimed at revitalizing the co-creation community in the Kyoto area. The newly established Kansai office will have resident capitalists to strengthen connections with startups, corporations, and investors in the region, thereby expanding the 'N-to-N co-creation' platform in Kansai. Through this base, IGPVP will contribute to the development of the Kansai startup ecosystem and vigorously promote the creation of new value through the fusion of existing and new industries.
