Vivid Garden Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Rina Akimoto), operator of Japan's largest direct farm sales site 'Tabechoku' which holds 9 No. 1 rankings (*1) including awareness and usage rate (*2), has supported the construction and processor registration for 'Tsunagaru Miyagi no OEM,' an OEM matching site for farmers, forestry workers, and fishers operated by Miyagi Prefecture.
'Tsunagaru Miyagi no OEM' is Miyagi Prefecture's first matching site where local primary producers can search and inquire for free about OEM operators (contractors) to whom they can outsource food processing without needing their own processing equipment. Detailed contract conditions such as genre, region, and minimum lot size can be confirmed in advance. Currently, 44 companies are listed, and the number of registered operators is planned to expand in the future.

Background and Purpose of Launch
When primary producers in Miyagi Prefecture attempt sixth-sector industrialization (handling everything from production to processing and sales), initial investments in processing equipment can amount to millions of yen. Even when outsourcing, investigating lot conditions and processing methods requires significant time and effort. While many producers desire to 'create and sell products under our own brand,' these hurdles prevent them from taking the first step.
On the other hand, food processing companies often have the capacity and equipment for OEM contracting but lack the PR means to increase new business negotiation opportunities, leading to an inability to expand orders.
To resolve these challenges for both producers and processors, a matching site was built where OEM contractors can be searched and compared all at once.
Overview of 'Tsunagaru Miyagi no OEM'
This is the official Miyagi Prefecture matching site connecting producers seeking OEM outsourcing with capable food processing companies. In addition to searching for processing companies by keyword, genre, or company list, detailed contract conditions such as genre, region, and minimum lot size can be checked beforehand. Registration and usage are completely free.

Features of this Service
1. Take the First Step in Product Development with Zero Capital Investment By utilizing OEM, purchasing processing equipment and setting up facilities are unnecessary. It provides an accessible environment for producers who have hesitated to enter sixth-sector industrialization due to cost reasons.
2. Filter by Genre, Region, and Minimum Lot to Confirm Conditions Before Negotiations The contracting conditions of processing companies can be listed and compared on the site. Questions such as 'What is the minimum lot?' or 'Do they have a processing method suitable for our produce?' can be answered before inquiring. This reduces the time and effort required for inquiries for both the ordering and receiving sides.
Future Developments
The number of listed companies will be further expanded from the current 44, with plans to include processing companies outside the prefecture in the future. Continuous efforts will be made to diversify supported genres and discover unlisted operators. New registrations for food processing companies capable of OEM contracting are accepted at any time.
