Annual Loss of 3.1 Trillion Yen for Men and Women Combined Due to Decreased Work Performance from Menopausal Symptoms
51.1% of women and 34.6% of men with menopausal symptoms reported a "decrease in work performance" (NTT Data Institute of Management Consulting). In February 2024, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry estimated the economic loss due to menopause to be a total of 3.1 trillion yen for both men and women. The more responsible one's position, the harder it is to show weakness. This silence is quietly spreading the loss.

In an Era Where AI Provides Answers, Where Do Differences in Work Performance Emerge?
What AI cannot replace, which can organize texts and strategies, is trust at first sight. The vibrancy of one's voice, a thoughtful way of speaking, and a vital presence. Trust is now gravitating towards individuals who appear youthful and full of life while exuding an adult's dignity.

Presence Can Be Cultivated from Vitality = Energy
I myself experienced a period where my health deteriorated, and I couldn't generate energy.
At 42, a combination of pre-menopause, demanding work, my child's entrance exams, and the fatigue of childcare led to a neurological illness.
Unable to work, I first realized the power of recovery nurtured in nature. I felt energized just by being in nature. Commuting to the forests of Karuizawa, an hour from Tokyo, and relaxing there, improved my physical condition and performance, deeply moving me once again by its profound effect.
I decided to build a second home in Karuizawa, a place rich in nature and with a history I admired. Following my Nordic husband's wishes, we built a second home in Karuizawa using Finnish solid wood, toxin-free, and organic design, and now we visit almost every month.
Doing yoga and dancing in a house in the forest makes me feel strangely energized. A room in Tokyo accumulates dust in just a few days, but in Karuizawa, it barely collects any. It's at such times that I truly feel how much environmental burden we bear in the city center.

The generation working in cities and holding responsible positions often coincides with menopause. If these individuals could establish a habit of visiting nature-rich Karuizawa, they could become even more energetic. I became convinced that by returning to an energetic self, simultaneously acquiring the historical dignity of Karuizawa as culture, and refining their expression, people can approach the self they aspire to be.
What I want to do is not to change people. It is to draw out the capabilities already within them into a form that can be conveyed externally. I want hard-working individuals to receive evaluations commensurate with their abilities. To achieve this, it is important not only to refine one's appearance but also to cultivate fresh energy.
From Karuizawa, We Will Drive This Dream Forward
For over 100 years, Karuizawa has been a special social gathering place where Japan's top echelons have interacted. With large-scale investments by the wealthy accelerating due to global warming, Karuizawa is now entering a new phase.
Using this location as a third base, we are envisioning the "Karuizawa Privilege Circle," an advisory club that integrally designs speaking, body, expression, and habits for self-improvement, to launch during the season of fresh green sprouts.
The 30s to 50s are not a period of weakness. If cultivated, this can be the most brilliant period of one's life.
Towards the realization of this dream, we take a step forward today.
