Visual Bank Co., Ltd. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & CEO: Masayuki Nagai) announces, through its subsidiary amana images Inc., the launch of the "Japanese Single-Family Home Exterior Image Dataset" under its AI training data solution "Qlean Dataset." This dataset is optimized for training image models aimed at improving object recognition accuracy using computer vision and enabling spatial understanding specialized for Japanese residential environments.

This dataset consists of exterior images of single-family homes photographed in real environments across Japan, along with metadata about the surrounding environment. It covers the shapes, exterior wall textures, and roof structures of detached houses in diverse areas including residential neighborhoods and suburbs throughout Japan. It is suitable for building models that identify specific architectural styles and for research and development in complex landscape analysis based on Japanese urban planning. By enabling deep learning of real-world visual characteristics—such as road-access conditions unique to residential areas, spatial relationships with adjacent structures, and changes in lighting due to time of day and weather—it facilitates advanced image recognition with contextual understanding.

This data is provided as part of "AI Data Recipe," the original AI development data lineup offered by Qlean Dataset, and is intended for use in practical AI development phases ranging from automated real estate appraisal to environmental recognition for autonomous vehicles and delivery robots in residential areas.

Visual Bank and amana images will continue to support the research and development of AI that accurately understands and analyzes Japan's residential environments through the provision of image and structural data capturing Japan's physical assets.
