■ Child Development Service Managers (Shihatsukan) and Their Current Situation

In child development support and after-school day services, the "child development service manager" (shihatsukan) is responsible for managing the process of providing appropriate services tailored to children and their families, and serves as the person in charge at therapeutic sites.

The role of the shihatsukan extends beyond responsibility for therapy at the site, to tasks such as "creating individualized support plans," "creating and managing a large amount of paperwork including various records, add-ons, and billing," "communication with parents," "coordination with related organizations such as schools and support coordination offices," and "training and development of onsite staff."

While being burdened daily with a wide range of responsibilities as leaders of therapeutic sites, many shihatsukan provide daily support to children while worrying about unanswered questions such as "Is this the right approach?" and "How do other facilities handle this?"

Therefore, our company, which provides the parent communication app "Conobell" to therapeutic facilities nationwide, will invite Shiho Nihara, representative director of the NPO Manpuku (after-school day service Jena) and a former shihatsukan herself, to host a seminar on the theme "The honest voices of shihatsukan and real frontline practice."

She is the parent of a child with a disability and learned that many parents of children with disabilities struggle with various issues.

In particular, because there were few facilities for children with disabilities in her hometown of Miyazaki, she decided to establish a facility herself and founded NPO Manpuku in Kobayashi City, Miyazaki Prefecture in September 2011.

In November of the same year, she opened the after-school day service "Jena."

At Jena, individual support is provided to help children acquire basic daily living habits and social skills with the goal of independence.

Shogo Yanagida

After joining VISH Co., Ltd. in 2021, he was responsible for sales and system implementation of the "School Support System + BusCatch" service for kindergartens, nursery schools, and certified child centers.

Since January 2022, he has served as product manager for the cloud service "Conobell" for child development support and after-school day services. He is currently in his fourth year in this role.

He continues to develop and provide systems daily to reduce the administrative burden on those involved in therapeutic care as much as possible.

"Conobell" is an affordable cloud service that centers on user information management and contributes to digitizing communication between staff and parents and reforming staff work styles.

In addition to daily communication with parents, the dedicated parent app allows users to apply for scheduled use and manage records necessary for national health insurance billing.

As of June 1, 2026, Conobell has reduced the administrative burden for more than 1,000 therapeutic facilities for children with disabilities (excluding cancellations and closures).
