[Event Report] Dog Hug Life Hosts 'Yokohama Port Opening Festival DOG FASHION SHOW' on the Main Stage!

Dog Hug Life (operated by Vis Creation Co., Ltd.) held the 'Yokohama Port Opening Festival DOG FASHION SHOW' on Monday, June 1, 2026, at the 45th Yokohama Port Opening Festival, which took place at the Minato Mirai Seaside Park in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture.

On the day of the event, a colorful flower wall was set up on the main stage of the festival, creating a glamorous atmosphere. The scene on stage was projected onto a large screen, allowing visitors to enjoy watching the pets and models walking down the runway.

In this show, which featured six brands, each showcased dog wear that highlighted its individual personality. The open location overlooking the sea combined with the stage performance decorated with flowers became an opportunity to convey the charm of fashion that pets and people can enjoy together.

Before the show, the participating dogs changed into their respective costumes and checked their positions on stage and the tricks they would perform. Watching them—some nervous, some relaxed—provided a heartwarming moment even before the show began.

The show started with an opening by MC Sayako Ieda. The audience participated as judges, determining the special and excellence awards based on criteria such as 'fashionability,' 'stage performance,' 'support from the audience,' and 'reaction.'
