Created from the Framework of a Project Aiming to Establish a New Classical Music Culture
This song, "Orrivann," was born from the framework of "DICT Music DAO Classics," a "sandbox community for composers and performers that establishes a new classical music culture through co-creation," launched in November 2025.
This community emphasizes the curiosity (intrinsic motivation) of composers and performers. For this song, there were no instructions regarding deadlines or direction; it was freely composed based on the composer's curiosity.
Within this framework, popular soundtrack composers such as Rei Ishizuka, Michiru Oshima, Kosuke Yamashita, and Kenta Higashioji have written approximately 50 songs to date, striving to expand the repertoire of performers.
Adding to Performers' Repertoire with a New Music Utilization System
Songs created from DICT Music DAO Classics, including this one, grant community members certain subsidiary copyrights, such as "performance rights." During their membership period, members can freely perform these songs at concerts and events (without needing to apply to or pay copyright management organizations). Through other community-driven mechanisms, we aim to promote content utilization, foster a better activity environment for composers and performers, and establish a new classical music culture. Please check the official page below for details on the community overview, managed songs, and membership.
