VIA Technologies Japan will be exhibiting at "Japan IT Week Spring 2026," held at Tokyo Big Sight starting Wednesday, April 8, 2026.

At this exhibition, VIA will present its new identity, **"Visvia"**, which represents its evolution to the next generation, and will unveil numerous practical edge AI solutions brought to life by the two major platforms: MediaTek Genio and NVIDIA Jetson.

We invite you to experience our latest solutions at the VIA booth. These solutions resolve common hurdles in on-site AI implementation—such as cloud communication and API costs, the burden of selecting and developing hardware suited for field environments, and the hassle of integration with peripheral devices—and smoothly support the transition of customers' AI projects from PoC (Proof of Concept) to mass production.

**1. [Automotive/Fleet Management] "D800" and "J600" for Rapid Deployment of Proprietary Fleet Management Systems**
For commercial vehicles and construction machinery requiring strict environmental endurance, we will exhibit in-vehicle AI solutions that pass vibration resistance standards (ISO 16750-3).
The next-generation high-end dashcam "Mobile360 D800," making its premiere in Japan, comes standard with hazard prediction AI and provides an AWS integration SDK. It functions as a platform allowing SIers and service operators to speedily develop their own original connected dashcam services. Concurrently, we will also exhibit the "Mobile360 J600," an 8-inch tough terminal with built-in AI that provides a 360° surround view.

**2. [Manufacturing/Visual Inspection] "AI Architecture Comparison" and Line-Connected "Dedicated Edge AI Inspection Machine"**
To support the optimal selection of hardware according to production line requirements, we will deploy two demonstrations.
The first is a "Visual Inspection Architecture Comparison Demo" using the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX (AMOS-9100) and the MediaTek Genio 700 (VAB-5000). By directly executing AI models developed in Python, we will demonstrate how differences in hardware architecture (GPU and NPU) affect AI approaches. Going beyond simple spec comparisons, we offer new choices for system design and hints to broaden ideas for inspection challenges faced on the factory floor.
The second is a physical display of the "Dedicated Edge AI Inspection Machine" built around the AMOS-9100. It integrates interfaces from camera inputs to PLC and patlite control into a single fanless, rugged chassis, significantly reducing the system integration man-hours required for setting up inspection equipment and building production lines.

**3. [Retail/Security] API Fee-Free "Edge Generative AI" and High-Precision "Facial Recognition Terminal"**
For store KIOSKs and smart customer service, we will provide a live demo of an "Edge Generative AI (Edge LLM)" that operates completely offline without using the cloud. This eliminates network latency and removes the need for pay-as-you-go API costs.
Additionally, for access control, we will exhibit the "ACS-5000," an access control terminal equipped with an RGB+IR (infrared) binocular camera that blocks "spoofing" via photos or videos at the hardware level. Because it is verified to work with major facial recognition software like FaceMe, it can be integrated into existing systems in a short period.
