Veriserve Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Tadahiro Shigihara; hereinafter "Veriserve"), a provider of software quality improvement support services, has developed in-house and launched a quest-style*1 learning program that allows all employees to voluntarily and progressively acquire practical generative AI skills. Through educational content aimed at acquiring skills not only to master generative AI in daily tasks but also to plan and develop generative AI applications, the company accelerates the development of advanced AI talent company-wide.

*1 A mechanism like a game where clear goals are given, and rewards or experience points are obtained by achieving them.

■ Background

With the advancement of AI technologies, particularly generative AI, the scope of AI application is rapidly expanding in the quality assurance field. Aiming for a state where all employees can utilize AI in their work, Veriserve has defined AI talent personas in three stages: "Beginner," "Intermediate," and "Advanced," and is promoting AI talent development.
To date, they have conducted the "Generative AI Fundamental Training" for the "Beginner" level and the "Generative AI Advanced Training" for the "Intermediate" level, fostering talent capable of understanding and utilizing AI mechanisms and acting practically in the field of quality assurance. However, some employees found it difficult to secure time to attend these training sessions due to work commitments.
Given this situation, Veriserve developed a gamified learning program in-house, creating an environment where employees can learn practical AI skills at their convenience while having fun like playing a game.

■ Overview

This is a quest-style program where users can learn basic AI utilization techniques while clearing learning steps like a game. It consists of 10 steps, and by solving problems, users can systematically acquire practical generative AI skills from basics to application and development. The target users are employees corresponding to the "Beginner" or "Intermediate" level of Veriserve's AI talent education program (Figure 1). This will comprehensively drive the improvement of AI literacy for all employees, including non-engineers, as well as strengthen the implementation capabilities of developers.

- Steps 1-5: Strengthening practical skills for utilizing generative AI from basics to applications, centering on ChatGPT Enterprise.
Users progressively learn about the output characteristics of generative AI, basic prompts, prompt techniques, appropriate function selection, GPTs creation, and model selection.

- Steps 6-10: Acquiring generative AI app development skills utilizing Dify*2.
Users learn to create apps with single or multiple prompts, incorporate RAG functions, create simple AI agents, and plan, design, and develop apps that solve field issues.

*2 Dify: An open-source platform that allows low-code development of generative AI applications.

Veriserve will continue to promote new value creation through the power of "People x Technology x AI" based on the trust and track record it has cultivated as a leading company in quality assurance, contributing to the development of a sustainable society.
